Our company was formed in January, 1972, with three Agents in a small office on Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach. Just a short three months later, we moved into larger quarters at 5633 Princess Anne Road. By the end of the company\\\\\\\'s first year in business, we had an Insurance Division, a Farm, Land Management and Consulting Department and the Commercial-Industrial-Investment Division.
In January of 1975, William E. Wood and Associates joined a relocation network of leading independent real estate firms across the nation. This affiliation ultimately led to the development of a Relocation Department and our current affiliation with one of the country\\\\\\\'s largest relocation networks.
Two new branch offices were opened in 1975 on Indian River Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard bringing the total number of agents to 30. In May of 1977, the entire Princess Anne Road staff left its space and moved into the newly constructed headquarters of Williamsburg design at 1120 Independence Boulevard. The C
